INGREDIENTS

  • 400 gr wheat flour
  • 150 gr date syrup
  • 150 gr butter
  • 60 gr sugar
  • 5 gr cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom

Instructions

  1. 1. Siftthe flour, add the baking powder and the baking soda to it.
  2. 2. In another bowl, put the soft butter and start whisking, then add brown sugar and continue whisking, then also add the date molasses and the egg then beat until the mixture is homogeneous.
  3. 3. Add cinnamon, cardamom, pinch salt, and add the flour mixture, then knead it by hand until a cohesive dough is formed.
  4. 4. Cut it and then make it in the form of circular discs, decorate it with dates and nuts, then put it in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
