- 10 Date Crown Fard, pitted
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 300ml milk of choice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Shaved dark chocolate for decoration
- 1- Place the Date Crown Fard, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a blender, then blend into a smooth paste.
- 2- Place the milk in a large saucepan over medium heat, then bring it to a boil.
- 3- Whisk together the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of the hot milk, then add the mixture into the saucepan.
- 4- Add the date paste mixture, then cook while whisking for 2 minutes.
- 5- Pour the hot chocolate into the serving cups, decorate with shaved chocolate, then serve immediately.
