First of all, check if you have all the necessary ingredients for this recipe
- 400 gr date syrup
- 240 gr sugar
- 2 eggs
- 30 gr cardamom
- almonds or nuts according to taste.
- 1. Put the date syrup and sugar in a saucepan over a low heat with constant stirring for 30 minutes
- 2. Put two egg whites with a little salt in another bowl and beat until meringue is formed.
- 3. Gradually add the egg white over the sugar and molasses mixture stirring constantly.
- 4. Then add cardamom. Continue to cook it on low heat until the mixture becomes thick and non-sticky, add the previously roasted according to taste.
- 5. Pour it in molds covered with parchment paper and leave it to cool for about 4 hours then cut to pieces.
